The staff were very professional and courteous. It was a very functional place to stay with laundry, equipped kitchen, and small gym. We chose this place for the price and because the room had a kitchen which was indeed really nice for saving money, time and calories on eating out.

Because of the high reviews, I expected slightly more upscale or like-new accommodations (it didn't help that the night before we had stayed in a somewhat luxurious hotel). It was clean and basically nice, but also rather run of the mill. This place reminded me a lot of "Value Place" which is an extended stay hotel where many of the occupants are actually living there. This hotel is just a notch above Value Place in class, though. It's not within walking distance to anything. Location a double edged sword. It's right on the freeway, which can be convenient, except in rush hour traffic. We didn't end up driving to downtown Austin for tourism as much as planned cause we didn't feel like braving the traffic (our own laziness at fault).

The location here is fantastic, close to affordable room rates, in a safe area near a baseball field, and my spacious room had a super comfy bed.

The room was not just updated but also super quiet, and it had kitchens and sofas. We even had a microwave, dishwasher, and coffee/tea makers right in the room! 🍵

Our stay at Sonesta was fantastic! The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The mini kitchen in our room was a great bonus, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was so convenient having pots, pans, and even Tupperware available. The hotel even provided us with a laundry basket and free laundry facilities, which was a nice touch. The overall experience was simple, easy, and made our stay much better than expected.
